Hello, I’m Lauren. Welcome to my blog.

For those wondering, I’m a young adult writer and public librarian. In the past, I’ve been, among other things, a magazine editor, freelance writer, high school English teacher, bookseller and circus aerialist (seriously). I have a BA in English Literature and a Master’s in Library and Information Studies, both from Florida State University. I currently live in Orlando with my husband and ever-expanding collection of books.

I enjoy dinosaurs (see: apatosaurus on the right), pasta, musical theatre, and the power of superheroes. I really love cheesy jokes.
